The writers behind Reslisdence

Reslisdence exists because a lot of interior design content is either too abstract to use or too product-heavy to trust. Two writers cover the same subject from different angles: principles and everyday application.

Claire Beaumont

Claire writes about interior design styles and the principles behind them for Reslisdence. She is less interested in trend cycles than in what makes a style work: proportion, material, and light. Her guides explain not just what a look looks like, but why it holds together.

Focus: style history, design principles, space planning, material choices, and which decisions matter first.

Sophie Renner

Sophie writes about applying interior styles in ordinary homes and on real budgets. She focuses on what transfers when the ceiling is low, the landlord has rules, or the furniture budget is limited.

Focus: budget application, rental-friendly choices, small and awkward rooms, seasonal decor, and style translation for everyday spaces.
