Editorial Guidelines
Reslisdence is an interior design editorial site operated by Lighthouse Retail Media. Claire Beaumont and Sophie Renner write the guides. These notes explain how we choose topics, handle images, and update articles.
What we publish
We publish long-form guides on interior design styles, room layout, and design principles for people decorating real homes. Every article should explain why a decision works, not only show a finished look.
Byline and voice
Each article carries a named byline. Claire writes about interior design styles and the principles behind them. Sophie writes about applying those styles in ordinary homes and on real budgets. We edit for accuracy and for a distinct voice. Template phrasing that repeats across many posts is treated as a defect, not a house style.
Images and embeds
Images in our guides are embedded from Pinterest with credit to the original creator. Older articles are being moved to this format; until then, any image we host carries a visible credit to its source. Pinterest and YouTube embeds appear when they add reference value. Editorial text has to stand on its own without the embed. We do not download Pinterest files and present them as our own photographs.
Facts, opinions, and corrections
Style-history facts are checked and linked to credible sources. Recommendations are opinions. If something is wrong, email contact@reslisdence.com. We update the article and leave the URL in place.
